Privacy Policy

Lemmy is a private, non-commercial project. This policy describes how data is handled.

What we process: Lemmy processes messages sent to it on WhatsApp and Telegram solely to generate responses. Messages are processed in real time and used only for the current conversation.

What we store: Conversation history and user preferences (such as reminders, calendar events, and notes) are stored on a private server located in the EU, accessible only to the project owner.

What we do NOT do:

Third-party services: Lemmy uses Twilio (WhatsApp messaging), Telegram Bot API, and Anthropic's Claude API to function. Each service processes data according to their own privacy policies. No additional data is shared beyond what is necessary for these services to operate.

Data retention: Conversation logs are retained on the private server for personal reference. Users can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting the owner.
